Brazil and Croatia

Well. Considering the amount of hype in Brazil, they walk away with one goal, mostly due to a very hard working Croatian defence. Kaka scored a goal though, in the 44th minute from outside the box. Unmarked, he unleashed a superb strike, the ball starting outside the left goal post and curving back in.

Lesson learnt. Always mark your man.

Nothing much I can say about this game, it was worth watching, and I am thoroughly happy I stayed up to watch the game.

Interesting note however. The Croatian fans did not seem to be downhearted with the loss. Indeed, there was plenty of shouting, clapping, etc. Flares were being swung round and round too. Not to mention one fan who got on the pitch.

How?

I have no idea.
