Ecuador beat Costa Rica 3-0, leaving both Costa Rica and Poland stuck at the bottom of the table with 0 points. This means Ecuador and Germany will now go through to the next round, and the next game, between the two powerhouses of group A will be to decide who finishes on top of the table.

Goals from Carlos Tenorio, Agustin Delgado and Ivan Kaviedes gave Ecuador this victory. For Tenorio and Delgado, these are their second goals, both having scored in the 2-0 win over Poland.
