England also through

Ouch-Lesson learnt. Take headers with forehead. Not face.
Unless looking for new face.

England make it to the next round of the World Cup following a win over Trinidad and Tobago.

England dominated the game, with most of the possession, and a large number of shots. Unfortunately, few of those hit the target, and only two made it past Shaka Hislop in the Trinidadian goal. These came late in the game too, with Peter Crouch scoring in the 83rd minute off a David Bechkham cross, and Steven Gerrard adding to the tally in the 91st minute.

Funny. Seems like in the previous few games, the idea is to score goals in the last few minutes. England, Germany, Tunisia, Australia. All in extra time. Interesting.

Anyway. David Beckham did extremely well I must say. Great cross to the English giant.

Well done England. We'll see who joins them after the Sweden/Paraguay game.
